Testimonials

The cottage was very clean and comfortable plus for Sue & I it had a very romantic feel about it. On our arrival we were met and handed the key and also when we went into the bungalow we found a bottle of milk and tea bags plus two bottles of wine, bread, eggs and even a vase of wild flowers. Once we had settled in one by one we met the whole family who all made us feel very much at home. Everything we could have needed in the way of equipment was in the cottage so we needed for nothing. We have had a wonderful holiday at Lower Shipen.

We had a lovely stay with a warm welcome from the owners. All our needs were catered for in a beautiful cottage which was well thought out. The welcome gifts of milk, bread, eggs, cream tea and wine were a very thoughtful touch. Would highly recommend.

We regularly come down to Cornwall from up north. We loved staying in the cottage. Had everything we needed and was a good base for exploring Cornwall. Only thing I would say is that could do with some blinds in the bedroom. It wasn't too bad because it's dark on a night but I could imagine it being bright in summer.

A wonderful place to stay. Lovely and rural but central for the north and south coast. Although we had a lot of rain, on our return to the cottage it was always warm. Hosts were very helpfull. Nice touch on arrival, flowers, eggs, bread and wine.

My husband and I, and our dog Lizzie, have just returned from a perfect stay at Brazzacott Cottages in the Stables. This cottage has an unusual arrangement with the bedrooms and bathroom on the ground floor and the sitting room and dining kitchen on the first floor, but this arrangement really works well. The double bedroom was beautiful and the bed so comfortable, we slept like logs in the peace and quiet of the farm setting. The fully fitted modern kitchen has every appliance and utensil imaginable, the spacious dining area complements the cooking area. The main feature is the enormous sitting room with the very comfy settees and satellite TV and DVD player. For most of the week the weather was very cold and windy and it was always a pleasure to return to this cosy cottage after a day out in the rain and snow. Wet clothes were no problem, we just popped them in the tumble dryer. The cottages are ideally placed for sightseeing, set in a quiet country setting yet only 12 miles from the beautiful beaches of north Cornwall and Devon. I recommend this cottage to anyone looking for high quality accommodation in this beautiful part of the country and sincerely hope we can return soon. Thank you Sarah and Tony for a holiday to remember.
